Our Story
Khiem and Thuy met on the mean streets of Walnut Creek, CA while navigating the wild, wild world of modern furniture and lighting. Through their shared love of Vietnamese food and Sam Smith, their friendship turned into ~love~

It all started in 2014, Thuy had just moved to the Bay Area from NC and started working for an online furniture company. She met Khiem while eating lunch in the common area. Right before moving, Thuy lost her phone so she was printing maps to get around. Khiem was so kind that he immediately offered her his extra navigation system when he heard this. From there, they continued to have lunches together and become good friends. They starting hanging out even outside of work and that’s where things got serious. When they started dating, they hid it from their coworkers for fear of being the topic of gossip. You could say they were a current day Jim and Pam. But they didn’t hide it very well and everyone suspected they were dating because they would show up to work in the mornings together (Thuy would never show up to work at 7:30 am otherwise). Eventually, they both left the company so all was good.
Khiem Nguyen
Bay Area native, loves hyphy music and the Warriors. One of 8, heir to the throne of Lon Nguyen. He prides himself on his ability to eat faster than any of his siblings to this day.
Thuy Duong Le
Valley girl at heart with some southern roots living it up in the Bay Area!
Loves: plants, boba, designer bags, omakase, pusheen, scoring a good deal, Warriors basketball

The Day Of
We’re so excited to see you! Please arrive by 5 pm if you plan to attend the ceremony at Casa Real. The reception will follow in the same location.
All Guests will be required to wear a mask.
Also, for those guests who have not been fully vaccinated 2 weeks prior to the wedding, you will be required to provide proof of a Negative Covid-test. Approved tests are PCR and Antigen. PCR tests should be done within 72 hours of the event and Antigen (rapid tests) should be done within 24 hours of the event. Children 10 and under are not required to test provided parents have tested negative or been vaccinated
